Project For Intellectually Disabled Children (Mentally Challenged)
A special programme is designed for moderately and mildly (trainable) mentally challenged children in the age group of 6 to 23 years. .
The programme is offered through various developmental components, conducted by special educators, which include:

- Behavioural Training
- Creative Activities (Art, Craft, Music, Dance)
- Physical Education and Sports
- Social Skills Development
- Communication Skills Training
Transportation is provided to ensure the regular attendance of children . The LRMP Project (“Learn, Run, Move and Play”) for intellectually disabled children was initiated with the objective of promoting creative activities and providing quality sports training to help them excel in various fields. These activities support the development of self-esteem, confidence, and a sense of achievement through non-formal education methods.
Children are given opportunities to receive training in fine arts, athletics, badminton, basketball, music, and dance. Qualified coaches and standard equipment are engaged for the program.
All efforts are made to ensure maximum benefit and provide individualized attention to each child.
BAL SARJAN PROGRAM
Programme for Municipal Corporation School Children
Bal Bhavan provides creative activities and training in various sports to the less privileged children from the Municipal Corporation schools during their school hours along with transport facilities, round the year. Children are transported to Bal Bhavan in the morning hours, and they participate in various creative and sporting activities for two hours and then they are transported back to school.
The children are offered activities like Creative Arts, Music, Library and Language development, Dance, Tennis, Cricket, Karate, Badminton,Basketball, Life skills etc. by trained and qualified Instructors.
